This is an Edwardian Masonic seal watch fob, which is made of 9 carat gold and an oval-shaped bloodstone. The seal depicts the letter G inside a compass on one side, and a set square on the other below an ornately decorated handle. One leg of the compass is hallmarked for Birmingham 1903 with the maker’s mark of W.O., and there is a further hallmark of 375 and 9 on one leg of the set square. The seal fob is 2.8cm high, and the bloodstone measures 1.5cm x 1.2cm. There is s very slight nibble on the edge of the stone (see photo with the ruler), otherwise this fob is in lovely condition. It weighs 3.79 grams.
