This is a lovely watch fob for a gentleman’s pocket watch chain. It is double sided, one side is set with a red carnelian, and the other side with a green bloodstone. The two stones are mounted in 9 carat gold and have an ornate gold swivel bracket with a ring hanger. The fob is 2.2cm wide, 3.1cm high and 8mm thick. The bottom of the mount has a Birmingham hallmark for 9 carat and the maker’s initials of Ce & Fd, but no date letter. I would guess that this fob is likely Edwardian or possibly even Victorian. Everything is in excellent condition.
