This is a lovely antique gold stick pin, either Victorian or Edwardian Circa. 1910, which is set with a sizeable oval garnet of 1cm length and 8mm width. The garnet has unusual small facets across its surface and is surrounded by a beautifully engraved skirting of 3mm width, which brings the size of the pin head to 1.6cm x 1.4cm. The entire pin is 6.8cm long. It is not hallmarked or stamped, but both, pin head and pin, test as solid 9 carat gold. Excellent condition throughout.
