This is a relatively large and heavy vintage cross pendant, which is made of solid 18 carat gold.
The metalwork is of an ornate nature, being textured with 11 decorative baubles spread over most of the surface and a small coral/stone set in the centre, which gives it a sort of 1960s retro look.
The stone in the centre is red, and I have presumed coral, although it may be a stone with some religious significance.
The cross is 5.8cm long, including the hanger, 3.4cm wide, and the bottom of the back is stamped “750” for solid 18 carat gold. It weighs 6.96 grams, which means that the gold content alone would be worth approx. £155.
This is an impressive piece in excellent/mint condition.
