This is a very eye-catching gentleman’s diamond ring, which is made of 9 carat yellow and white gold and is set with 9 diamonds. The diamonds are arranged in a square, in 3 rows of 3 stones each, and each stone has a diameter of ca. 2mm. The shoulders are decorated with vertical bars of white gold to contrast with the yellow gold bars above and below them. The ring is 1cm high at the front and tapers towards the back where it is 4mm high at its lowest point. The inside is hallmarked as 9 carat gold, with the number 375 clearly legible, but for the rest I have to guess (see photo). In the absence of a legible town symbol, I assume it is London, and if you read the date letter for an O, it would mean that the ring dates from 1988. The maker’s mark is A. G. The ring is size T, has a respectable weight of 5.76 grams and is in excellent condition.
